Dr. Thomas Meixner, a 52-year-old male professor, was a respected mind in the field of desert water issues, serving as the head of the University of Arizona's Department of Hydrology and Atmospheric Sciences. His life, however, was cut tragically short on the afternoon of October 5, 2022, when a former student entered the John W.
