Manuel A. Avechuco, a 44-year-old resident of Tucson, Arizona, was fatally shot on September 13, 2024. The incident occurred near Mission Manor Park, where Avechuco had arranged to meet Ambernovana Guadalupe Gradillas to sell her drugs. Gradillas, who was 24 years old at the time, had set up the meeting as part of a plan devised by her boyfriend, Alejandro Ray Gamez, to rob Avechuco.
