In the early morning hours of Saturday, October 12, 2024, the life of Demeris Johnson, a 31-year-old Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in Tucson, Arizona. His body was discovered unresponsive in the road near the intersection of East Seneca Street and North Ridgeway Road shortly before 6:00 a.m. When officers and personnel from the Tucson Fire Department arrived at the scene, they found Johnson with obvious signs of trauma and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
