Monserrat Colorado, a 20-year-old woman, was shot multiple times late on June 2, 2025, on the 1500 block of Lukup Lane in Costa Mesa. Officers responding to multiple 911 calls around 11:10 p.m. found her on a sidewalk with several apparent gunshot wounds; they administered aid until Costa Mesa Fire & Rescue transported her to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
