In a tragic turn of events, a young life was cut short in Tucson, Arizona. Sixteen-year-old Carlos 'Carlitos' Chavarria Gonzalez passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 19, 2021. He was a cherished young man who found joy in spending time with his brothers and friends. His life was taken far too soon, leaving behind a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
On that fateful day, Carlos was with a friend when a gun the friend was handling discharged, striking and fatally
wounding him. He died at the scene of the incident. The sudden and accidental nature of his death sent ripples of shock and grief through his community. Carlos was remembered as a shining star in the lives of those he touched, a young man who could have accomplished much in his life.
