On August 16, 2020, a tragic incident occurred in Omaha, Nebraska, resulting in the death of 37-year-old Larry Darnell Johnson Jr. The Omaha Police Department reported a fatal shooting that took place early Sunday morning near the intersection of 24th and Binney streets.

Officers responded to the scene around 6 a.m. and found Johnson, who had sustained gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to the University of Nebraska Medical Center for emergency treatment. Despite the medical t ...
