In the late afternoon of November 18, 2022, a violent altercation shattered the peace at Rudy Garcia Park in Tucson, Arizona, ending the life of 20-year-old Jorge Santini Baragan. The Tucson Police Department received reports of a shooting at approximately 4 p.m. and arrived to find a chaotic scene. Officers discovered Jorge with severe gunshot wounds. Despite their immediate efforts to perform life-saving measures, his injuries were too grave, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
