On June 17, 2021, Cedric Anthony Peete Jr., a 41-year-old man, was killed in a shooting incident in Tucson, Arizona. The shooting occurred outside a home located in the 1300 block of South Copias Way on the city's west side.

According to the Tucson Police Department, officers responded to a report of a shooting around 7 a.m. and found Peete at the scene with signs of gunshot trauma. Despite administering first aid, Peete succumbed to his injuries.
