On June 19, 2021, 25-year-old Elijah Hassan Muhammad was fatally shot at an apartment complex in north Phoenix, Arizona. The incident occurred near 19th Avenue and Bell Road, where officers responded to a call of a shooting around 1:30 a.m. Upon arrival, they found Muhammad pronounced dead at the scene.
