In a tragic incident in Phoenix, Arizona, 14-year-old Darric Appleton lost his life on Monday, March 9, 2020. The young man was at a residence near 43rd Avenue and Baseline Road with a group of other children when the fatal event unfolded. Darric, who was not a resident of the home, was struck by a bullet from a handgun that was being handled by the youths.
