In the early morning hours of June 20, 2023, the life of 31-year-old Samuel Lamas Jr. was cut short in a fatal shooting in Phoenix, Arizona. The incident occurred around 5:10 a.m. in the area of 2200 East Thomas Road, where Phoenix police officers were dispatched after reports of gunfire. Upon their arrival, they discovered a man, later identified as Lamas, suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate response, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
