In the chill of a late January evening in Phoenix, Arizona, the life of 20-year-old Darea Tavon Owens, a male, was tragically cut short. On January 22, 2022, shortly after 9:00 p.m., police responded to calls of a shooting in a parking lot situated near the intersection of 17th Street and Adams Street.
