In the chill of a late January evening in Phoenix, Arizona, the life of 20-year-old Darea Tavon Owens, a male, was tragically cut short. On January 22, 2022, shortly after 9:00 p.m., police responded to calls of a shooting in a parking lot situated near the intersection of 17th Street and Adams Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered Owens had been shot. Despite immediate attention, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
