In a quiet Phoenix neighborhood, a devastating scene unfolded, leaving a family shattered by violence. William Lammers, a 78-year-old White/Caucasian male, was found deceased in a home near 14th Place and Rose Lane. The tragic event, which occurred on June 20, 2023, was discovered when police responded to a welfare check at the residence around 9 a.m.
Upon their arrival, officers were met with a grim discovery. Inside the house, they found the bodies of three individuals.
The victims were identified as William Lammers and his 81-year-old wife, Betty Lammers. The third individual was their 50-year-old son, Lance Lammers.
According to the preliminary findings of the Phoenix police investigation, the incident was a murder-suicide. It is believed that Lance Lammers fatally shot both of his elderly parents before turning the gun on himself. As the sole suspect in the deaths of William and Betty Lammers, and being deceased himself, there have been no arrests in connection with this case. The investigation concluded that Lance Lammers was responsible for the deaths of his parents.
