In the winter of 2020, the life of 19-year-old Aaron Aldrete Jr. was cut short by an act of violence in Phoenix, Arizona. On the evening of January 29th, at approximately 9:30 p.m., gunshots disrupted the quiet of a neighborhood near 300 West Papago Street. Responding to the scene, law enforcement found Aldrete in front of a residence, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was a male of unknown ethnicity.
