On a late Saturday night in March of 2021, a gathering among acquaintances at a Detroit motel took a tragic and fatal turn. The evening of March 27th ended in the shooting death of 29-year-old Otis Coil of Detroit. The incident occurred just before midnight at a motel located in the 14700 block of 8 Mile Road.
