In the early morning hours of February 8, 2003, a life was tragically cut short on the streets of Washington, D.C. George Fitzgerald Barr, a 22-year-old African-American male, was fatally shot at approximately 1:30 AM in the vicinity of Georgia Avenue and Princeton Place, Northwest.
