Death by Force

On May 25, 2020, at approximately 6:21 pm, Christopher Beckwith Jr., aged 22, was shot and killed in the 1400 block of Fairmont Street, NW, Washington, DC. The Metropolitan Police Department responded to the sound of gunshots and found two adult males, including Beckwith, suffering from gunshot wounds. Beckwith was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second victim, 19-year-old Willie Leon Brown Jr., was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
