In the late hours of a Thursday in Washington, D.C., the life of Antonio Woodson was tragically cut short. On February 23, 2023, at approximately 10:49 PM, the 41-year-old Black male was shot in the 800 block of Chesapeake Street, Southeast. When officers from the Metropolitan Police Department arrived at the scene, they discovered Woodson suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of any immediate medical intervention, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
