Kyrell D. Lewis was a 23-year-old Black male from Wilmington, Delaware, whose life was abruptly stolen on the evening of January 9, 2015. That night, not long after a heated exchange, he was spotted outside an apartment complex on the 200 block of Parma Avenue—also known as Arbor Place—engaged in what witnesses and investigators would later describe as a verbal confrontation.
