A 19-year-old Black male, DaShawn Friend, was shot several times on the morning of Thursday, April 30, 2015, in the parking lot of Pine Grove Apartments on Webbs Lane in Dover, Delaware. Officers who responded to the scene found him suffering from multiple gunshot wounds; he was declared dead at the site. Investigators believe robbery may have been the motive.
