Jermaine Scott, a 29-year-old Black / African American male from Dover, Delaware, was killed early on Christmas morning, December 25, 2020, in a shooting connected to the area of Town Pointe Apartments at 820 Carvel Drive. The case began for police at about 2:13 a.m., when Dover officers were called to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital after a gunshot victim arrived there by private vehicle.
Scott had already been brought away from the scene before officers encountered him at the hospital, and he died from his injuries after arriving.
