Tyrone Sampson, a 35-year-old Black male, was shot in the early morning hours of March 30, 2019, on Weston Drive in Dover, Delaware. Police responded around 3:50 a.m. to reports of gunfire and found Sampson suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. Officers rendered aid until medics arrived and transported him to a nearby hospital. Despite lifesaving efforts, he succumbed to his injuries on Monday, April 1, 2019.
