Emmit Martin-Brown, a 25-year-old Black male, was shot on the night of August 18, 2016, inside a residence in the 100 block of South Queen Street in Dover, Delaware. Police and local reports say officers were dispatched at about 9:34 p.m. for a report of a person shot; they found him—identified by police reports as “Emmitt Brown”—with a gunshot wound to the torso.
