Jesse Stanford, 30, a Black male, was shot during a home invasion on the evening of January 5, 2019, at the Kentwood Mobile Home Park in the 200 block of Kentwood Drive in Dover. Troopers were dispatched around 5:57 p.m. and found him with a gunshot wound to the upper body. Two other adults inside the residence were not injured, and the intruders fled without taking any property. Stanford, of Cambridge, Maryland, was rushed to a local hospital in serious condition and died two days later.
