On May 14, 2021, Javon Donté Jones, 23, was fatally shot inside the Uplift Barber Shop on Governors Avenue in Dover, Delaware. Kyree Robinson, 23, entered the barbershop and fired multiple shots at Jones, who was a patron in the shop. Jesean Coverdale, 17, accompanied Robinson and waited outside during the shooting.
