The fatal shooting of Javan Cale unfolded on the evening of January 10, 2017, at his residence in the Clearfield Apartments in Dover, Delaware. Cale, 31 years old, was confronted by two men, Depaul Wilson and Guy Jones Jr., who had traveled from Worton, Maryland with the intention of robbing him. The encounter quickly escalated into a violent shootout when Cale answered the door.
