On a Wednesday afternoon, May 13, 2015, the community of Fox Run Apartments and Townhouses in Bear, Delaware, was disrupted by violence. Edwin Heath Sr., a 33-year-old Black man, was found lying on the ground in the 100 block of Antlers Lane around 4:12 p.m. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

Responding officers immediately provided first aid to Heath, but his injuries were too severe, and he was later pronounced deceased. The incident was quickly determined to be a homicide, shatt ...
