TyMire S. Block Selby, a 12-year-old from Wilmington, Delaware, tragically lost his life on August 3, 2018, after being shot in a targeted attack. The incident occurred in the early evening hours when TyMire was struck by gunfire while in the area of the 800 block of East 28th Street. Police responded to the scene shortly after reports of the shooting were made, and TyMire was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead from his injuries.
