Jamere Black, a 22-year-old African American male from Wilmington, Delaware, tragically lost his life on October 31, 2024, in a shooting that shook the Riverside neighborhood of the city. The incident occurred shortly after 12:30 p.m. on the 1300 block of E. 28th Street. According to police reports, Jamere Black was critically injured during the gunfire and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
