Lamont "Smiggen" Davis, a 46-year-old Black / African American male from Wilmington, Delaware, died after gunfire erupted on the night of February 16, 2020. The shooting happened in the 800 block of North Adams Street, where Wilmington police responded at about 10:02 p.m. and found Davis suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency crews moved quickly to get him to a hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries.
