Jihad Bell, a 23-year-old Black male from Chester, Pennsylvania, died on the evening of December 9, 2024, following a shooting in Wilmington, Delaware. The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. in the 400 block of West 6th Street in the Quaker Hill neighborhood. Wilmington police responded to reports of gunfire and found Bell critically injured at the scene. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries later that night.
