Demier Chambers, a 28-year-old male from Newark, Delaware, was shot on the night of March 16, 2021, in Wilmington. Police were called at about 8:34 p.m. to the 700 block of North Washington Street, in the Quaker Hill area, after reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found Chambers suffering from gunshot wounds. He was still alive when he was taken from the scene to a hospital, but the injuries were too severe, and he died there.
