A 22-year-old Black man from Wilmington, Delaware, named Quinton R. Dorsey, was fatally shot on the evening of July 2, 2021. Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Lombard Street at about 6:23 p.m., where they found him suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but despite efforts to save him, he died from his injuries.
