Brandon Nasir Wingo, 15, a Black male, was a freshman at Howard High School of Technology in Wilmington when he was shot in broad daylight while walking home with classmates on May 19, 2016. Along Clifford Brown Walk, a figure in dark clothing approached; classmates recalled the jacket looking out of place in the warm weather.
