Calvin Peterson, a 34-year-old Black / African American male, was killed late on Sunday, September 13, 2020, in Wilmington, Delaware. The shooting unfolded at about 11:13 p.m. in the 1700 block of Tulip Street, where Wilmington police were called after gunfire was reported. When officers arrived, they found Peterson suffering from gunshot wounds.
