On December 15, 2008, 19-year-old Gerald "G-Man" McNair II was fatally shot multiple times at the Elsmere Skating Center in Elsmere, Delaware. The Elsmere Police Department responded to reports of shots fired at the skating rink, where they discovered McNair had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical attention, he succumbed to his injuries.
