Raekwon Mangrum, a 19-year-old man from Providence, Rhode Island, was fatally shot on April 4, 2015, in what authorities later determined to be a targeted homicide. The shooting occurred in the early evening hours, around 6:45 p.m., near the corner of Brook Street and Peace Street in a residential area of Providence.
