Dametrius Benson, a 17-year-old from Wilmington, Delaware, was tragically killed on January 24, 2019, in what authorities later described as a homicide. The incident took place in the early hours of the morning when Benson was found in a residential neighborhood. Police responded to reports of gunfire in the area and discovered the teenager suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
