Death by Force

Jeremy Tunnell, a 20-year-old male from Wilmington, Delaware, was struck by gunfire on the night of May 24, 2018, after a ShotSpotter alert drew police to West 5th and North Madison Streets. Officers found the 20-year-old suffering from a wound to his lower abdomen. Paramedics treated him at the scene and he was taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Days later, the State of Delaware Division of Forensic Science ruled his death a homicide.
