David Bailey, a 23-year-old African American male from Wilmington, Delaware, was fatally shot on July 28, 2017, in the 700 block of South Van Buren Street. He sustained a gunshot wound to the upper torso and was found unconscious and unresponsive at the scene. Bailey died later that day from his injuries.
