In the early moments of a Tuesday, just after midnight in Wilmington, Delaware, a dispute escalated to a fatal conclusion. Jamiere D. Harris, a 20-year-old Black male, was shot and killed on January 17, 2017. The incident occurred near the intersection of Seventh and Market Streets, stemming from an argument over a drug debt.
