On January 14, 2015, 16-year-old Jordan Ellerbe was fatally shot while sitting on a porch in Wilmington, Delaware's Hilltop neighborhood. The assailant, identified as Oliver "Butter" Henry, approached Ellerbe and opened fire, striking him in the head. Two other teenagers present at the scene were also shot but survived their injuries.
