On May 18, 2017, at approximately 9:00 p.m., 22-year-old Sherman Pride was fatally shot in the 2400 block of Claymont Street in Wilmington, Delaware's Riverside neighborhood. Despite medical efforts, Pride succumbed to his injuries, leaving his family and community in mourning.
