Sherman Pride, a 22-year-old Black male from Wilmington, Delaware, was shot on the night of May 18, 2017, and later died of his injuries. Just after 9 p.m., police rushed to the 2400 block of North Claymont Street in the Riverside neighborhood after a ShotSpotter alert and multiple 911 calls.
