On September 9, 2020, at approximately 4:12 a.m., New Castle County Police officers patrolling the Edgemoor Gardens area of Wilmington, Delaware, discovered a man lying face down in a grassy area near East Salisbury Drive. The individual, later identified as 25-year-old Khiry R. Clark, had suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the back.
