Khiry Clark, a 25-year-old Black/African American male from Wilmington, Delaware, was one of two men fatally wounded in a double shooting on September 9, 2020. The violence unfolded in the 3400 block of Church Street, where authorities reported that Clark and 25-year-old Namir Brown-Sullivan were shot at approximately 6:38 p.m. Both men were struck by gunfire, turning what began as an evening in Wilmington’s Eastlawn area into a homicide investigation.
