Ira Brown, a 20-year-old African American male from Wilmington, Delaware, died on January 11, 2016, following a violent incident that unfolded during a home invasion in the Browntown neighborhood. According to police reports, Brown was one of three individuals involved in a robbery attempt at a residence on Brown Street near Stroud Street.
