On May 27, 2024, a tragic shooting occurred in Wilmington, Delaware, resulting in the death of 18-year-old Yazir Tickles. The incident took place around 7:30 p.m. in the 2700 block of North Thatcher Street. Responding officers found three individuals with gunshot wounds: a 17-year-old boy in critical condition, a 21-year-old man in stable condition, and Tickles, who was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
