Jaron Smullen, 29, a Black/African American male, was shot on the afternoon of December 3, 2019, on the 100 block of East 24th Street in Wilmington’s Prices Run area. Officers arrived around 4:05 p.m. and found him suffering from multiple gunshot wounds; he was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
