A 24-year-old Black male named Damond Emory was shot and killed in Wilmington, Delaware on the night of January 29, 2021. He was found with gunshot wounds in the early morning near the 2900 block of North Market Street. Despite rapid response by authorities and medical personnel, Emory succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
