Cyree Watson was a 22-year-old Black male from Wilmington, Delaware, whose life was cut tragically short in mid‑July of 2017. On the night of July 14, 2017, at approximately 11:26 p.m., Wilmington police officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 1200 block of West Third Street. Upon arriving at the scene, they discovered the young Black male suffering from gunshot wounds to his face and torso.⸱
