On January 25, 2004, Jockquel Davis, also known as "Black," was shot and killed in the 1600 block of W Street, NE, Washington, D.C. The incident occurred at approximately 1:39 AM. Responding to reports of gunfire, officers from the Metropolitan Police Department found Davis at the scene. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead soon after.
